Hi!
Actually, it has been a while since I last visited this web site. I have been trying not to concentrate too much on getting the visa (but without luck..). But yes, I am online most of the day. I have an excellent job at which I can search the internet as much as I want as long as I am doing as I am told:-)
What a story!!?? I agree with you - totally useless receptionist! You might actually have gotten your visa one month before if this had not happened! Amazingly three months...
We will definetely frontload meds. I will book for these tomorrow, 5,000 (i.e., GBP 500) for a family of 4 (2 children aged 2 and 4 and 2 adults).
My husband is a mechanical engineer although he has not worked in his occupation since he graduated nine years ago. I think he will work as a Project Engineer in Australia.
We REALLY cannot wait to get Down Under. The winter here has been extremely cold and it is still very cold, I think.
As I mentioned we have two kids - a girl aged 2 and a boy aged 4. Our son will start school when we get there. I am really excited about it all. It will be interesting to see how quick they will learn English and how fast we will all adjust to our new life.
My husband and I have been dreaming about doing this for the last 11 years. I went to Sydney back in 1994 (17 years old - as you!) to swim and I fell in love in this beautiful country and its people. Ever since I have wanted to come back.
How does your family feel about your move?
Regards, Janni
