It all sounds a bit weird that they are allowing a nurse to sign from abroaf...

Adelaide (and Hobart I think) are the only capitals of states that you can go to that are clbutted as Regional for this Visa. Hence why we are off to Adelaide (hopefully). You get extra points for going for the Regional option. It is NOT a permenant visa but is valid for 3 years in which time you have to fulfill certain criteria with regard to living and working - ie full time job for 12 months, and live in the area. So no ducking out to go and work in Sydney!

After two years you can apply for a permenant visa, if you like its an upgrade. You still have to carry on living in the area for 2 years after this. Obviously they hope that by the time you have been there that long everyone will be settled and won't want to move on. I think then the STNI comes into play - there are a few choices of which Visa you can go for. I am no expert and I know someone will put me right if any of the above are not quite right.

However - you are no doubt paying an arm and a leg to your agent (I know we have) so I would keep hbutteling them to clarify things for you.

Hope this helps.
