the overseas buttesment pack is the one you need... that gives you all the competencies you need to acheive... for a given standard that your trying to reach. to be honest witha HNC i'd be going for at least the technologist level not buttociate.
in the buttement pack the list of competencies you have to demonstrate is the ET2.1 ET2.2 etc... BUT, AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.... (i missed it nearly!) THE SUB COMPETENCIES ARE EXAMPLES in the way you may hit that specific competency, they are not exhaustive either.. you may think that something else you did may hit the competency and as long as you reference it at the back of the report then its no problem (as long as it does demonstrate it :) )

just out of interest are you using an agent? he should be supplying these forms and everything for you... i havent had to find a thing... my agent has emailed everything to me. The only thing he was useless at is helping with the competency demonstration report.... to quote... 'im not an engineer... thats your job!'
it sounds a big task... it looks a big task but in reality its really not that bad.. just a little long winded.
