Hi, Our application was received by DIMIA on 2 Sep. Our case officer has now asked for : 1) Sponsor's birth certificate. Why would they require this? We have provided the sponsor's citizenship certificate which has her date of birth. Again the marriage certificate also has her date of birth. She doesn't have a birth certificate!
2)Further evidence of employment - We had provided a letter from my husband's employer that he has been working with them since Aug 2000. This was dated May 2005. So I am a little confused - what other evidence is required. We plan to send payslips (18 payslips till Nov 2005!)
2)Evidence of blood relationship with sponsor: Now this is very unclear. My husband' sister is the sponsor. We have provided our respective marriage certificates - showing the name of the father to be common. There is nothing else we can provide. What else do they need?
3)IELTS for both (we couldn't get out of this one!)
3) PCC and Meds
5) Letter asking my sponsor to contact centrelink for the AOS. (I thought this was always done after PCC and Meds??
If anyone can shed some light on the above, I would be really grateful. Have you had similar requests, despite providing documents as per requirements in the checklists? I plan to speak to the CO on Monday and find out what the exact requirements are.
