The trouble is, if you fail your skills buttessment, it adds to your timeframe and will cost you.
I know agents cost but if they can get it right first time then its money well spent.
I know the first time we attempted to fill in our skills form ourselves and then sent it to the agent, he pulled it apart because it was so crap. In fact, we didnt do ourselves justice and missed out vital info.
Our agent advised us, and due to personal stuff, it took us nearly two years till it was suitable for submission which we pbutted first time.
In my opinion, I think if you have the slightest doubt as to what you are doing then leave it to the experts.
Time is not on our side as hubby is 44 this birthday so we want to get it right first time.
George Lombard is handling our visa application and he does skills buttessments as well. He posts on here and has the links in his signature.
Well worth a look I think.
It takes over your whole life though, and I even said to my husband 'Where is my George Lombard suit?' instead of 'Jasper Conran', so that gives you and idea of how it screws you up! :D
