Hi everyone,
Bad news for my cousin. Actually he applied as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic. He had completed a formal recognised training course of 2 years duration as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, and afterwards 1 year of Regulated Apprenticeship.
After apprenticeship he has 4 years of work experience. Accordingly his skill pathway is 'A'.
But his case was rejected and on the Application buttessment and Audit Sheet the Skill pathway was circled by the buttessor as:
'D' - Skill level transition - 6-7 years
First of all I am surprised by this decision because he is a qualified Ref. A-c mechanic.
The buttessor has given two reasons for his rejection viz:
(1) the application was not complete or did not contain sufficient detail for TRA to make an buttessment.
(2) the evidence of training and work experience was insufficient to meet any of the available skill pathways.
He has also mentioned the reasons for decision as:
"Refer 3.4 in Application Form Guidelines" "Refer 9.1 in UAC"
I need some opinion and suggestions as what can be the reason behind this and should he send the application for review and how the application can be improved for review submission.
