we failed first time also, although you think you have sent enough info, we later realised after our second attempt that we didnt provide any where near enough!! my advice is to go through everything with a fine tooth comb, get someone to read through who knows absolutely nothing about the profession or your job, and if they understand it, you are on the right road, basically you need to devise an "idots" guide to your profession, detailing every single little thing - things that you dont even think about because you have done it for so long now, think of it like making a cup of tea, it isnt simply chuck a tea bag in and brew is it? it is lots of things like, fill the kettle with sufficient water, turn the kettle on to do this press the on switch!, take tea bag out of the box and place in a cup, add sugar etc. etc. you catch my drift?? anyway once you have done all that, go back over your qualifications and references, obtain more references from others if possible and include even more detail as mentioned above! its the silly things that make the difference with the TRA!!! try and add more info about your education also, transcripts that sort of thing and reapply, i am not keen on the appeal route, as its costs nearly as much as the reapplication and doesnt have that good a chance of success! best of luck vb2
