TRA and ACS
|
Hi All I know I may have asked a similar question here before to which Tony answered, but cannot find the thread. We have just received positive buttessment from TRA Electrician. My husband did his trade 20 years ago. Over the last 15 years he has been working as a Systems Manager IT. We need the extra points from his trade to qualify 136 send independent. My question is does he need to have his IT skills buttessed by ACS. I think I remember the case being that as his trade is a 60 point nomination and his IT also being a 60 point nominated that all he needed was the proof of his work experience-qualifications in IT. Can Tony or someone else verify this is case. I have been reading booklet 6 over and over again and thats what I take out of it, but also read that if your nominated occupation was a 40 or 50 and looking for recognition of experience in a 60 point occuption that two buttessments would need to be done. So basically I am just double checking that it is only one buttessment ie TRA that we needed to do. Thanks in advance MK |
