QUOTE=JuliecabsHi Frankie, I have 3 teenage children and we are moving to Brisbane next August. My eldest daughter will be 17 by then and she will have just completed her AS Levels here, and my son will be 16 and will have completed his GCSE's at the same time as you. My youngest daughter is 14 and will have done her YR 9 SATS. They are looking forward to starting new schools there and making new friends. I think it depends what state you are moving to as to which year you will go into. We are moving to Queensland and my son who is the same age as you will be going into YR 11 there for the last 3 months and then do YR 12. I reckon you will be fine. If it doesn't work out in Oz for you and your family you could come back here and then go to college to do more UK exams, but if you stay in Oz you will have Oz exam results aswell, so either way I think it will work out well. Good Luck.
Hi Juliecabs, we are moving hopefully by next November to Brisbane area, our eldest son will have just completed year 9 and SATS, any idea what year they will be going into if they start Jan 2007? His birthday falls in December so would that make a difference to what year he will be in? How do your kids feel about the move? It would be nice for them to msn each other. Jox
Frankie I'm sure you will be fine whatever you decide to do! There seems to be a lot of teens moving next year so perhaps you could all catch up on the msn thingy!!!
