Tony you may be able to help me with this one. Got all documents stamped by solicitor today and just putting them together. I mentioned on a...

Hi all, well we have been waiting (not so patiently) for 4.5 months for our RSMS visa application to be approved. We expected to hear around August, but agent just said be patient. Eventually they agreed to get hold of our CO in Brisbane to find out what the delay is. Turns out a) we have a new CO, and b) a letter was sent to our agent 3 months ago requesting further information for our medicals, but they did not receive it! Our daughter's medical has a 'deferred opinion'. So for 3 months we have been sitting around when we should have been sorting this out! What a mare! Luckily I took a cancelled appointment with her paediatrician yesterday, just waiting for the report now. DIMIA say that once they get that they can process the visa quickly.

So we are hoping that we will get an answer in November. We were initially hoping to be there before the end of the year, so now looks like we might stay for Christmas and leave early Jan so that the kids can be there in time for school start. It's all getting very close to the wire! And we don't even know if we will pbutt the meds anyway. Can't stand this uncertainty!

Aaaaargh, bring me peace!
