Tracking your TRA Application Sender: Glenn Newton

Did anyone do main application with out an agent! Sender: Teri
we did. but still going through the process so cannot tell you what the outcome is. I agree that if your application does not have anything that could be complicated - then...

TRA does not have a facility for tracking your application online a la the ACS.

where it is at.

But you won't get much of a reply other than to acknowledge they have it, and you get an acknowledgement letter to that effect anyway :-)

It really is disruptive to TRA's work flow and delays processing for everybody if TRA has to respond to queries about progress, and a query will not speed up your individual application.

Unless you don't receive an acknowledgement letter after about 2 weeks from when you despatched your application, or a result letter after about 14 weeks from when you despatched your application my advice is to relax, forget about it and enjoy life - watched kettles and boiling water etc :-)

Although some people might get an acknowledgement letter in about 7-10 days from despatching their application or a result letter 6-8 weeks after despatching their applications, these times vary with TRA's workload and resources at any point in time, and other factors.

Can you fail your medical for being too fat Sender: Rabc
Ah Ha! Another worried soul with a bit of a wobble! Worry not my friend all will be well. As others rightly say take a look at my "To fat for Oz...

TRA's stated processing target time is 60 days (and that is working days = 12 calendar weeks). It is currently taking 8-10 weeks.

If you haven't got an acknowledgement letter after 2 weeks or a result after 14 weeks, then send an email by all means in case things have been lost in the post.
