I just saw your other thread and with a subclbutt 139 option, you should not worry yourself with SIR options as an SIR visa is iniytially a 3 year temporary visa. VETbuttESS are an buttessing body for more general 40 and 50 point occupations. 139 visa only requires you to have a 40 point occupation although you can have 50 and 60. VETbuttESS only look at the academic standing of your qualification, they do not consider any experience. Look at the SOL list and you will see many occupations covered by VETbuttESS.
You can chose any 40 or 50 point occupation that takes your fancy and it does not need to be related to your recent work experience. Even though you will be nominating a 40 or 50 point occupation, you do not need the usual amount of recent work experience (2 years in the last 3) but only are required to have 12 months of send experience in ANY send occupation on the SOL. Thus your recent IT experience should suffice for this. You will also require an butturer later in your 139 application. It is planned that 139 will disappear on 01 July 2006 so you should apply before that date.
