Hi Mehdi
be careful with your use of WHV as you are on a UK forum where WHV means a subclbutt 417 Working Holiday Visa. I presume you are talking about a Working And Holiday Visa WAHV subclbutt 462.
They are similar visas in that they are granted for 12 month stay, have 3 month work limitation with same employer, and no study for more than 3 months. Where they differ is that you need a letter from your Government approving you to obtain the visa and need to have functional English and hold a qualififctaion equivalent to a diploma or degree. Also you can apply for a second 12 months under the 462 but the second visa will have the condition that you can only apply for a protection visa or further 462 and if you apply for a third year you get the 8503 condition limiting you only to protection visa application while you remain in Australia. This visa came about in 2003 I think and Iran is the only gazetted country for this subclbutt.
So, similar to the situation of a 417 WHM who intends permanent residence in Australia, eligibility for the permanent visa should be sorted before you embark on the WAHV especially as you do not have the flexibility of a 417 WHM to change to a 457 visa through sponsorship by an Australian emplyer.

Suggestion to JAJ Sender: BarbitanaHi folks, Today I suggested creating several sticky threads concerning popular topics to our supervisor dear JAJ,and now I think that I have to elaborate...
In your case, any eligibilty for a send permanent 136 visa would need to be gained before you turn 30 and you therefore need to look at the requirements of the 136 visa and those of the Australian Computer Society. You will need a score of at least 6 in each of the four categories of an IELTS test whereas functional English is good enough for the 462 visa. You will need 4 years relevant IT experience on top of your IT degree, buttuming your IT degree is buttessed as equivalent to an Australian degree or 6 years relevant IT experience if it is buttessed as equivalent to an Australian Diploma. It seems you have probably 1 year IT experience (post graduation) and the possibility of another 2 years pre-graduation so will need at least another 1 year of IT experience, possibly more. Going to Australia on a WAHV makes it difficult to increase your IT experience with the restriction of the 3 months with any one employer. Also, when you apply for a 136 visa, you need to evidence that you have worked in a skileld IT position for at least 6 months in the last 12 months and 3 years in the last 4 so being unemployed in Australia, or working in non-high send areas, often means that you need to gain a fresh 12 month period and sometimes a fresh 3 year period of experience.
So the only benefit I can see in going to Australia before you qualify for the ACS buttessment, is if you want to go and see if you like the place and-or improve your English if you are not at the required level mentioned above. IF you do this, then you should make sure that you are not out of send IT experience for more than 12 months.
I hope all this makes sense as I am only going into this in such detail as I'm sure sound Australian migration advice is not easy to get in Iran.
