The qualifications are Bachelor Degree (Hons) and yes it is a 50 pt occupation.
There's a risk of a range of complications with this route, most notably if the work experience is in a restricted occupation (eg nursing, teaching), hence professional advice is important.

Yes, we are hoping to go with an agent for the main application, but to save pennies we are attempting to do the Vetbuttes application ourselves.
It usually makes sense to do this anyway as there's always the risk something will go wrong with the designated area sponsorship, and if you have the points and a 138-eligible sponsor they will also look at the 138 visa.
We are 5 points away to be eligible for th 138 so we are dependent on the 139 to get us to Oz.
