Hi Molly
Possible that ASPC will extend your medical validity by 3 months. You will have an initial entry date tied into their expiry. If with the 3 month extension it is not great timing, advise them you wish to re-do your medicals asap.
Tony
Have applied for SIR visa, on-line, and have now received an email from CO stating that all that is out standing is police checks and form 80- ok.....
BUT.....they have used medicals we submitted with our old application (which we withdrew in Feb this year), instead of waiting for the new medicals that we had done on Tuesday (18th)......
How does this work in terms of validation when the visa is issued? From my records, there can't be much time left on our old meds, as we had them done at the end of Oct 04.
We applied for new police checks about 4 weeks ago, and are still waiting for them to come back!
My question is, I suppose, do they take 12 months from the date of PCC or medical as expiry date of visa validation period???? If not, then they may not issue the bl**dy visa in time for us to validate before the medicals run out (If you see what I mean!!!)
I am a bit confused...should I email CO and tell her that new meds have been done??
Thanx in advance-QUOTE
