QUOTE=Hayley-JayHello, wow, what an awesome forum, loads of good friendly advice! My partner and i are just starting the ball rolling applying for subclbutt 136 visa. Its pretty daunting stuff..we're going to do it with-out an agency, is this how most people do it? I think i've totally underestimated the time its going to take!! (and the cost!!) I suppose its different for everyone but whats the average time for the whole process? Has anyone else applied for this visa with occu as Chef?

Sorry for plantarding you all with questions!! Reading everyones experiences and obsticles has got me well freaked out!! :D Any information (or re-butturance!!) would be much appreciated...

Hi Hayley

My husband is applying as a chef and our case isnt straightforward.

We are using Glen Newton for our TRA and George Lombard for our visa.

Although George has his own man to handle the TRA side.

You can do it yourself, but you have to have it to specification and meet the exact requirement.

Agents cost, but if there is any doubt on your application or you don't think you can deliver in the way the TRA want, then I would invest in an agent.

Why not become a proper member of this site? You will make some good mates on here and perhaps find some support as well.

Good luck

Samantha
