Fires of 'civil war' erupt in Paris
Fires of 'civil war' erupt in Paris Police in street battles after two teenagers die in...

Okay folks, I just read a couple of threads that have got me thinking. Heres the background - I applied for no MODL 136 in late march, got acknowledgment straight away, but then waited over 5 months before contacting them regarding meds-pcc and then receiving the formal request. I have since been waiting a further 6 weeks after submitting these documents and am still waiting.

Despite the quoted application time figures quoted from the DIMIA, I have seen quite a few people in very similar circumstances as me apply after, but receive their visa before me (congrats by the way!).

So given that applicants from the UK are currently being divvied out among all regions due to the high load of applications, what are the chances that the region you are placed in could affect you application time line? We know that certain countries-areas are clbutted as high risk, so if you are in a region with a high number of 'high risk countries' where application times are much longer, will you (depsite being low risk as a UK resident) have to wait far longer? Which region is deemed to be the slowest due to either application load or internal-security checks?

Right - so four children, one in UK, 2 in Australia but only one of them on a permanent visa and yourself. So...

Thoughts please?
