Hi guys,
I am returning to Perth in the next two weeks (I have Permanent Residency which runs out late November so I will be going back to keep it and to become a citizen in time) but a question has arisen which hopefully you will be able to answer.
I have met and fallen in love with an English girl who has lived in and loves Perth. She and I want to go back to Perth together and I am trying to sort out the best way of doing it.
She will walk into a job over there (She is in Health and Safety) and has already approached the company she works for in the UK about transferring over there as they have offices there. We are going to get married but the question is which would be the best way of doing this?
Should we get married before I go over and start sorting stuff out and get her over on a Spouse visa or try to get here there on a De Facto situation and get married when and if she is allowed or is it best to get her over on a sposorship visa from a company?
How long on average do these things take or is it a 'how long is a piece of string' situation?
I really would appreciate your advice on this,
