I think this award must go to a collegue of mine at work. He submitted his Visa application very nearly 2 years ago, had his medicals December '04 and went on holiday to Oz (of course) two days after Boxing day last year. When he returned to work at the end of January this year we all felt sure he would know the outcome - but no!
In my opinion his agent is not doing him any favours as would not query his Case Officer (you just have to be patient he was told). It got to November and he was on the verge of giving up and emailed Adelaide himself and a reply came back (copied to his Agent). His Case Officer had left earlier this year and had not completed the processing 'a number' of files but had been placed to one side.
It is now two weeks since he has received a very apologetic email and he was told his file would receive priority processing, with an estimate of 14 days to decision. He was hoping for a very good Christmas, but now wants Christmas to be over and done with so DIMMA get back to work and give him the answer he is hoping for.
Can anybody better this? All the best to everybody for the season... Tony.
