As my partners family are mostly either deceased or living some distance away, she cannot find out the date of birth for her mother and father. They both died when she was quite young. Obviously she knows the day and month but isn't sure of the year. Is that a problem? Can we just put "unknown" PUT IN AS MUCH INFO AS YOU CAN. DOES THE INFO NOT SHOW UP ON YOUR WIFE'S FULL-UNABRIDGED BIRTH CERTIFICATE?

The reason I ask is because I may go out first and set up a home and find work. IT MEANS IS SHE PART OF YOUR APPLICATION - SHE DOES NOT NEED TO ENTER AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU
* Question 20 asks for my address for correspondence, do I give them my address or my agents address - NOT SURE BUT IF YOU ARE USING AN AGENT I THINK THE AGENT WILL PUT THEIR DETAILS IN
* Do I need to list my spouse's eployment history even if her visa will be granted because of my skills? PUT THEM IN IF YOU ARE CLAIMING POINTS FOR SPOUSE SKILLS - YOU WILL HOWEVER HAVE TO LIST HER EMPLOYMENT HISTORY IN FORM 80
* Should I be applying for bonus points, having had Australian work experience? NOT SURE
* Should I fill in Part J, the skill matching database? NO HARM IN DOING IT - WE HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY A DEPARTMENT OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA ASKING MY HUBBY IF HE IS INTERESTED IN A JOB
When are the police checks and stuff done, do they go away with my main application? - NORMALLY ONLY SENT WHEN REQUESTED AS THEY ARE ONLY VALID FOR 12 MONTHS BUT MANY PEOPLE SEND THEM OFF WITH THEIR APPLICATIONS TO SPEED THE PROCESS UP
