Hi there,
Extra Baggage AllowanceHi Vicsa Please see here: There is a London number that you can ring in order to get it from the...
I'm new here. I come from Lebanon and I'm 25 y-o. after receiving a positive result from vetbuttess last april, I applied as a send-australian sponsored. Having a master degree in marketing, a BA degree in advertising, a diploma in graphic design, and 5 years experience as a graphic designer. I have visited Australia twice, once in 2004, and another in April 2006, and of course to be granted a visitor visa I had to send with my application, a letter signed and stamped by my boss stating my details... As I said I applied in May 2006, got an acknowledgment letter in June, and the war started in Lebanon in July, forcing my company to stop functioning, and we're in October now, since the war started, my job is on hold, I already notified DIMIA by sending form 1022 to tell them that my job is on hold, and my future in this company is uncertain. Now that the war ended I'm still not receiving any salary which forced me to take legal actions and sue my boss not only for salaries matter but also because I didn't officially resign or received any note from his behalf which means I'm still employed and which also means I'm unable to work for another company...enough about my job, I'm only concerned about DIMIA, because if they request extra papers from my company I'm afraid I can't get any, DIMIA already have a letter from my boss stating that I am a graphic designer since 2001, I work full time, permanent...they also have a reference letter from my IT manager stating my job description in details, also the Australian embbutty has letters and they called my office to check if I really work there before granting me a visitor visa....i know it's a rare case but just in case DIMIA requested more evidence about my work, would yearly statements do? Or copies of my monthly cheques?
