Hi Buddy,
Here are some of the tips for you:
1. For successful buttessment from ACS (Australian Computer Society) you need to have a formal education related to IT (which of course you've), plus at least 4 years of experience. Will they consider your 3 years experience ???? NOT SURE
2. Dont worry about the requirements for Recent Experience. To cut it short, you shouldn't be un-employed for more than an year from the date you've sent your Applcation for Immigration.
3. One thing which you've missed in your question(s) is your age. It really matters how old you are. If you are less than 30 years when you are applying you'll get 30 points but of 30+ you'll get 25 points (this is my problem). So make sure you apply before you turn 30 years old to score required 120 points. Otherwise you'll have to explore the Bonus points options which is again time consuming.
3. Keep in mind that none of the occpations from IT are on the MODL these days, so you got to rely on all the other areas such as Skills, Age, Experience and etc.
Hope it helps :)
Ghanghro.
