Hi, I have applied Graduate Send Temporary Visa (497). Now I have received an acknowledgement of receipt from DIMA. In that it says, the graduate temporary visa will only come to cease when my current visa expires. In my current student visa it allows me to work 20hours per week on semester and work full time on semester holidays. However, on the Bridging Visa A, receipt it says it allows me unrestricted work rights.
Now I have finished my studies and as stated applied for the 497. The thing that bothers me is that on March 1st the university starts. However, as I am no longer a student (Because I have finished my studies). Now my student visa expires on march 15th. So, according to what DIMIA sent me my bridging visa will only come to affect after March 15th.
My question is from 1st of March to 15th of March am I not allowed to work 40hours? Please do respond to this quickly, because in that case I might unfortunately have to resign or ask permission from my workplace to 20 hours in those two weeks. It is pretty bad for just weeks if I were to lose my job.
