advice needed for friends wanting to migrate to oz Sender: debreeve

hi, had a call from our best friends yesterday saying they had finally decided to try & give oz ago, she spoke to an agent who told them they wouldn't get in on Steve's skills but only last yr our agent told them they stood a very good chance i know things change all the time , anyway as u can imagine debs was pretty upset , i have been telling her for months to get herself on Expats & ask advice but believe it or not they are still not online !!!!! so thought i would ask for help . was wondering if any of u could recommend a very good agent which i could pbutt on to them . i will tell you a bit about them so you can give me your opinion on the matter. Steve is 43 ,debs 42. for the last 15 yr he has been running his own building company & had been told by our agent some time ago that it would count as a skill but another agent said no .he hold one of the highest accreditations with the N, H, B, C., debs works for a large company & does the payroll for 300 employees don't know if that counts for anything . don't know much about their financial situ but do own their home & with selling the business i should imagine things would be ok. so if there is anyway round it or even if we could sponsor them or is it just family we would be very grateful if anyone could help . many thanks . debs & Kev.
