Hi to all the members of Indian Community in Australia. I was surfing on the net to find out whether Indian License is valid in Australia or not when I came across this group and readily signed in. I need some information on this country as I would be moving in soon to this unknown continent. Just to give you guys a brief about me.
My name is Yogesh and I am 30 yrs old. Me, my wife and my daughter (3years) are planning to move there as Permanent resident. Our visas have been evidenced and we are planning to move by May 2006. I am working with number one training company in India as a Branch Manager. My wife is working as an HR manager with one of the known hotel chain. We both are MBAs from Delhi itself.
Can someone help me in clarifying my doubts?
Whether it is a right time to move in?? Whether we can get the job before or just after landing?? Which part of the country so that we can get the job faster? Would day care be best idea to leave my child there while we both go out for work? What is the starting salary I can expect with 7 years of sales and marketing experience in India? And ofcourse is the Indian license valid there? If yes then for how long?
I am sure all the questions cannot be answered by a single person; maybe I am lucky enough to get some reply on all from all of you soon.
