Hi Immigrant
Are you in the UK? If so, here is the link to the medical stuff that you will need:
Scroll right to the end of the section and download the list of doctors, plus Forms 26 & 160. Also download and read Form 1071i, which is a very accurate description of the health-criteria.
Basically, if the cost of looking after your husband is likely to exceed about $20,000 AU in his first 3-5 years in Australia, then the MOC will take a close look at whether or not he meets the medical criteria for migration. Often, the cost is not the cost of drugs, but whether or not an Australian clone of the applicant would be able to claim sickness or disability benefits in Australia. Australia will not accept anyone who they think might become a burden on the State Benefits pot.
It does not sound to me as if there is anything wrong with your husband that would put him into this category, and I shouldn't think his medication is expensive either. So I think Professional Princess is right and that you shouldn't worry about the meds.
Form 26 requires you to list the drugs he is taking. Use the generic names and the dosage rather than the brand-names, because the brand-names are different in Australia. If you live in an rea where there are several Panel Doctors within an easy radius, it is worth ringing round to compare all their prices, and also to find out what the average waiting-time is for an appointment with each one. Don't get the Meds done yet, though. Focus on the application itself as your priority for the moment.
Cheers
Gill
