We followed the rules to the day. I figured if I was processing applications and kept having emails and phone calls that slowed me down and put me back and behind schedule eventually I would also just leave the naggers aside, just to get the numbers right then return to the naggers. Human nature!
I alwas mailed the general email address, never the CO even when we finally got one unless requested. The first email I sent was after 6 months and 1 day. (We got a letter and email after them receiving the app saying it could take 3 to 6 months for MODL app to be requested for meds and police, wife is a nurse). Then we were told do not contact them for 2 months after meds and police checks were received. As I am diabetic there were the request for more information within a month via the doctor. it took me a while to get it all, but I provided more than asked for. 2 more months and i sent another em asking and hey presto within a few days a visa. As our application was simple we did not use an agent. ( an agent told me it was but offered to buttses the documents before we sent them at a cost).
Waiting for someone ale is just a person. Every single day cross a day of the calendar, recheck how long it has been. Imagine and invent problems they may be having in my head and play them out. Plan what we will do if the visa was refused, then just shake the head and go back to waiting.
