How did i get that..... Well for 6 years its done on the principal that it takes around 12 months for the visa and its valid for 5 years to allow you to migrate.
Min time - hmmm good question. Depending on your circumstances, but i buttume you want to be PR and with your skills and if you can validate them, you have a good chance and if you dont delay on anything it can be quick.

Skills buttessment - Allow 2 months Form Filling and collecting docs, submitting the application. - Allow 2 months Waiting for DMIA (MODL is faster) - 6 months average, but allow 12 Medicals - 3 week wait (included DMIA wait Selling the House - say 3 months Activating the visa and moving to Aus - 1 day if you move and activate at the same time. Total - 12-14 months.
To get it down to 6 you gotta be very lucky, do all your docs on time, have no issues on the forms (ie requests for more info), dont migrate family, be healthy, good character, no need for any bonds, no house to sell, and above all be 100% committed to moving as quick as you can.
