Hiya,
a re-hashed plan and I'm still not sure if we'll meet the their 12 month criteria.
We've had a bank account since November... but moved in together this January. We'll be here for 5 months and then we'll be based from my fathers flat but are going to South America for 5 months
Our joint bank statements will be going to my Dad's and we'll keep all records of our travels.
We were hoping to apply in November (we moved in together at the first opportunity - due to contracts-leases on flats)... We would've moved in together when we decided to join everything together (finances etc) in October. We've been "living together" all that time but between our places.
Does the fact that we combined finances count. Because we WILL have been defacto for a year...
My partner needs to go back to Australia in November. He will prob get a holiday one afterwards to cover us while we apply.
If they refused the visa on ground of not long enough together and that carried over the time needed (ie say they wanted another 2 months)... if you appeal does that time count as making up the difference??
Snake Phobiachrissie181 Hi, Its doubtful you'll even see a snake in suburbia, to be honest. I've lived in Australia...
Argh - does any of this make any sense to anyone.
I'm getting in such a tizz in my head. Thanks Lu
