nick thanks for your reply- good luck with your application.
Madhu thanks for the honest info. we do realise that our chances are not very good as the long term evidence is that he will need dialysis or donor eventually but there is the chance that everything can be stabilised for another 20 yrs or so, so we do feel this is unfair if we do not get visa.
My TRA experienceI am currently living and working in Oz and obtained my TRA over here asan Electrical Fitter (the company sponsoring me applied for this...
someone could get kidney failure in the near future, but because they are already in OZ then they will be enbreastled to health care and not have to move out of the country. the chances are if he did have to have a donor in say 10 yrs he would have better chances in UK of a match & with relatives already offering we would probs. come back to UK for the procedure for a short time then return to OZ.
we would like to hear if there is anyone out there in a similar situation and what the outcome was. we will probably hear from CO soon anyway and as i said it doesn't look good. does anyone know if DIMIA do let some in with inconclusive medical results or will we have another extension until there is a conclusion which could be another year off. at the moment he is being monitored monthly by blood tests and all they can do is measure the kidney functioning through this until they have some kind of results to go on. Wezzies.
