A few more year (happening in places now) there will be conference calls from yuor home with all your mates and maybe even 3d holograms of them too so you can sit in the same room and have a laugh even though they are the other side of the world. Tech is so fast these days the world is getting smaller cause of it that "being" with friends will mean something totally different in years to come.
Other than that, think how often do you see every one of your friends and relatives? Every day? Every week? Every month or more like once a year for birthdays etc. I have mates down the road i havent seen in months as im too busy or they are or whatever, but you and they both know that they will be there for you as you will them no matter what.
Just remember how many people wish that they were moving to oz when you told them and remember.......YOU ARE IN!! You GOT YOUR VISA THROUGH BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS. Enjoy Australia for as long as you can and live life to the full.
