If you did not have second thoughts then, I think, that something would be wrong!!!! We are all making HUGE life-changing decisions and to have these concerns is natural.
I have now sent of $100k this week and I suppose that it is only now that it is really real. Until now, it has been a nice idea of moving to Aus and has really been a paper exercise in proving who I am and what I have done in life. Now with the house going on the market today (A sign will appear in the next day or so and that will be v scary as it is then that most of the neighbours will find out we are moving!!) and thinking about shipping companies it is becoming vvv real.
I know I will be sad to leave England and I will miss family but if I don't do it for us and the family I know I will think "What if" and will regret it. Luckily, my parents have been very supportive and whilst I was worried what they would say, we have chatted about it but they have encouraged us.
I know that if I really don't like it, I can always come back and as someone else has said, I may be financially worse off but so much richer for having been and done it.
Well that's my ramblings.
