sarcoidosis Sender: Carruss

Just when I thought all was going well I come across this thread ! ! !

I had Sarcoidosis over eight years ago and after refusing to except three different doctors opinions on what I had I was referred to a specialist. She was as pleased as punch to see me as apparently it was as rare as rocking horse sh*t! She told me to let her know every single bit of detail I could to help them understand it all etc.

I dont know what your sysmptoms were but I had trouble walking for nearly two months (never been as worried about anything as this in my life!) plus trouble breathing and other leg related problems. After All quite an experience and I felt like going back to the doctors in question and thumping them one just for the hell of it! I hardly ever go to the doctors and how many times do they say 'its viral' and hope you will just go away and get over it all.

Once I was over the worst of it I had to go back six months later and unless the symptons returned. I was told that I would proabaly never get this again and they do not know what causes it. You are the only other person I have heard of that actually had it then. They do make references to it as a friend of mine was told he may have the signs of it but it never developed fully etc.

Anyways, sorry to waffle on but I will probably be booking our Meds tomorrow and want to get them done before Christmas. If they find
