Hi Elaine,

9DAA44922990-0-TRAChildCareCoordinatorsBulletinJuly06.pdf which describes the TRA requirements. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from anyone who has actually gone through the TRA process for a child care co-ordinator but I suppose we will in time and until then we just have to put our faith in their written word.

If your daughter does do a course in Australia as Andrew suggests to meet the requirements then she should be able to make an onshore graduate send application, however it's important to get the advice of a migration agent on that issue. Education agents like Andrew perform a very valuable role and I'm sure he's honest and trustworthy, however in a lot of places they provide advice about migration outcomes which is self-serving and unreliable. Let me stress that I have nothing but admiration and a hint of jealousy at Andrew being able to work in one of the world's most beautiful and civilised cities, and I'm sure his advice is good, however we have seen many students who have been sold inappropriate courses and, relative to the cost of the course, it costs very little to confirm that a migration outcome is achievable by contacting a migration agent.

And if Andrew is a migration agent I apologise unreservedly.

Cheers,

George Lombard
