CBC Lockout Big Deal
CBC Lockout? Big Deal By Peter Worthington Mon, August 29, 2005 The major league baseball strike of 1994 severely damaged the game, and fan support...

we got a positive TRA in june this year. it was nearly up to the 3 month mark (priority) when we got it back. our main application is just about ready to go. we are going on a sponsored family visa and have given ourselves about a year from now for the visa. but there is an interview and bond to be lodged at centerlink for the family member in australia. when we asked this question right at the beginning, we was advised 12-18 months (but they also said 'how long is a piece of string' thing!)

we had a delay inbetween getting the TRA and submitting because we needed more paperwork. if your agent is on the ball and can advise you what to get for 'everything' so you are prepared, then there is no reason why your main application cannot be submitted as soon as your TRA comes back.

as far as your question on the break from your profession, what did ASA say?i would have thought that as long as you mention this in your statutory declaration to cover it, then it should be fine.

good luck with your application. SB
