No one was discussing legal proceedings. They were perfectly legal. That Order. They aren't really lawyers, either.
As for that article, this post of yours is a direct reply to my pointing out flaws in reportage, information at trial and methodology of gathering information by the attorneys. The issues have all been with the information presented at trial, the biased reportage of it, and the subsequent disposition of similar cases, not the legality of Stella's case.
To deal with the inaccuracies offered at trial and in reportage, I've cited a food science site (inaccuracies of thermometers), coffee industry sources (talking about industry-standard, necessary and customary temperatures for brewing and holding coffee), coffee maker manufacturers and their criteria (to counter Stella's lawyers and the reportage), subsequent legal decisions (to show that the idea is without merit).
The "outcome of the case" is old news. Dissecting it to see its merits isn't. Analysis of the information presented isn't. Subsequent legal decisions have referenced this case and pointed out that it should never have happened.
One article from the Wall Street Journal is the extent of your "citation." One general subject reporter-person's understanding. And only one citation. Count mine through the thread.
I did cite. A summary appears below so you won't miss it. Again.

as a spouting of "half-truths" and counter it with insult and one article from a newspaper. Great. And do take offense when the supercilious nature of your comment is rejected in kind.
I'm desolated that you've been unable to actually buttimilate the many unbiased sources I cited. Crushed. A real indictment of our public schools, I'd say.
I can understand getting all up in the air about a subject. Really. But when you offer one emotionally-loaded article from a newspaper as the whole story, that's pretty thin. And when you ignore alternative-additional information and then say it never was offered, that's even thinner.
Never mind my three decades in food service where I used the equipment in question in eleven different operations ranging from a BBQ place to country clubs band resorts. I didn't cite any of that because it is so subjective, but it's certainly background for me to understand some of the questions raised.
And here are the citations I've offered or quoted in this thread, even though you say I've provided none. One leads to another discussion that was done in even greater depth:
