However, my cousin has been working on this (originally with her mother who has pbutted) for nearlyh 30 years and seems to have a good handle on it. She is also a member of a local genealogical and historical society where she lives. Mainly what I've been doing is sharing the life details of some descendants that she knew very little about. Our lineage began in the US in 1743, and she has traced back several generations earlier in England and France. She has also ambutted a collection of personal letters, deeds, receipts, and other documents for many of our descendants dating abck to the late 1700s, and I have a collection of similar items from another branch of the family which I'm sharing with her. What I'm particularly excited about is her electronically imaging and cataloging all of the documents. I believe she is using a product called Legacy to manage all the data.
Now, if I decide to get ever get started on my mother's side of the family, I will need all the help I can get! I'm certainly not a pro like you or my cousin, and have no relatives on my mother's side of the family who has a similar interest. I will definitely remember your offer, and thanks again!!!
