I tend to dream about food when I'm very stressed about an event I'm cooking for going wrong or when I think my body is trying to tell me something. The first is simple anxiety and the second is an indication I'm deficient in a certain nutrient. I think cravings are very similar in they are trying to tell me my body requires a certain nutrient. When I get a craving I give into it because I tend to crave things like broccoli or spinach. The other day I had the weirdest craving for cranberries so I've been drinking plenty of cranberry juice. I often crave things like yogurt and cheddar cheese. I think this is my body's way of saying I need more calcium since I never drink milk. Sometimes I get a very strong craving for turkey so always keep turkey pieces in the freezer. A neat thing - I detest chocolate and have never understood chocolate cravings - I'm just not into sweets and chocolate IMO is just the grossest food ever! My friends just don't understand how I would choose a large bowl of broccoli over a chocolate bar but then I don't understand their choice either.
OT: Rabbit Anyone GROSSthe dots and ~ made most work cats, ~ ~After reading your posts, I'm not sure I know exactly what a feral cat ~really is. I *think* Bart has been spayed and I can pet...
At the moment though, I've done so many tomatoes I can see them if I shut my eyes but they don't haunt my dreams, thank goodness!
That would be aweful either way!
