Green Goddess Dressing

1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar 1/4 cup chopped parsley 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onion 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon 1 teaspoon anchovy paste; (optional) Salt; to taste Freshly-ground black pepper; to taste
Process all ingredients, along with 2 tablespoons of water in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
