HELP, I'm despretly unoriginal and end up eating the same thing every day

When im in a hurry i put on a pot of white rice to boil. Then set up a couple of steamer baskets, one for veggies and the top one for a nice piece of fish, takes about 10 minutes of steaming and the veggies come out from under the fish nicely flavoured, a bit of lemon and butter and serve with the rice.

You might also want to google "pasta carbonara" or pasta "alfredo" a primitive version of the carbonara is just cut up bacon fried till done then poured over & tossed with the cooked pasta, fat and all with a few beaten eggs, the residual heat from the bacon and pasta cooks the eggs, a bit of freshly ground black pepper and your done.

At least once a month i spend a day in the kitchen making up soup and stews and things like the aforementioned shepherds pie that i then freeze in individual serving sized containers that can be popped in the microwave at a moment notice.

A quick saute in butter or olive oil of a cut up boneless, skinless chicken breast and some shrimp with green onions and garlic and a splash of white wine at the last moment and served with rice or pasta is also quick and easy.

Sometimes when im feeling lazy i take thinly sliced deli chicken meat and layer it with pepper jack cheese on a slice of bread with mayo and pop in the microwave for a minute or two, just long enough to get the cheese all melty.
