Sadly, I believe there are some people who are just miserable and they can't be happy unless they're making others miserable too. The only thing "offensive" I find about Christmas, is the mbutt commercialization of it. I hate that the stores put out the Christmas fodder the day after Halloween now. And you should see the looks of astonishment and wonder I get because I *make* ornaments. I miss alot about the Christmas days of my youth, and it makes me sad that my children have not had the opportunity to experience the same things I did. What I love about Christmas: The beauty of the decorations (at least, the ones that aren't tacky lol) The way some people are quick to smile and act far friendlier than they usually do. The way it brings out the generous and kinder nature in folks Nativity scenes People going out of their way to spend more time with those they love The David Bowie and Bing Crosby version of "the Little Drummer Boy" The Grinch! The seemingly endless opportunities to cook and bake!

I hate that the whole politically correct wave has made it as though one should feel guilty for enjoying Christmas. I don't ask anyone to give up Kwanzaa. I don't ask anyone to call Hanukah by another name and act as though their celebration can't possibly have anything to do with their belief system. I love Christmas and I'm proud of it! And honey, that's a CHRISTMAS tree in my house, not a holiday tree!
Ok, I'm done. If anyone is offended, I'm not sorry. Sorry for not being sorry maybe. Or not.
