I don't know what to say, Cindy. I can only repeat what I said before. You were very kind and gracious and went to a lot of trouble to do something nice for some people, and, in my opinion, they were jerks to you. That doesn't necissarily mean that you should discard them as friends, but I think I might do a little one-on-one questioning to find out just why they were so rude. People are really busy nowdays and sometimes they think that if they don't show up no one will notice. However, I still think it was very rude to not at least call you and tell you they couldn't make it. My opinion only, but I wouldn't do that to someone. I would at least call them and apologize for not being able to show up, and thank them for their hospitality. You never know, Cindy they might have had some real problems that kept them from dropping by. But I think maybe you should at least talk to some of them and find out what happened. I think that, in the end, you'll find out that it was just one huge cluster and nobody meant to snub you. I hope so, anyway.
