I'm looking at this logically when it comes to Christmas gifts for our kids since they all cook. It helps when I know what I like as far as equipment.
For DD - I'm considering a cookie press? She has a very well equipped kitchen with more gadgets, small appliances, and what not than I will ever want or have. She's hard to buy for. I'm considering a pressure cooker for her as I know she doesn't have one yet. I got her a copy of Rachel Ray's book only because she likes the foodnetwork shows and she is a busy gal so 30 min meals would likely be appreciated.

One DS - he has a small oven so I bought him smaller scale oven pans - roaster, cookie sheets, muffin pans, muffin papers, silicone spatulas, a couple of cake mixes since he likes cake but doesn't bake from scratch, a mini GF style indoor grill

DS & DDIL - last year we got them a really nice set of pots & pans so we know they are set that way but they have almost zip in the way of bakeware, we got them a really nice 12 piece cbutterole set in off white, DD said he wanted to make a pie at Thanksgiving so she had to bring a pie pan and the rolling pin so that gave me two more ideas, they like cooking with wine as well so maybe a bottle or two as well as a bottle of sherry, I'm debating getting them silicone bakeware - he cooks, she does not but is showing a little interest so I'd like to encourage her on this one
On my list of things wanted kitchen oriented - shiny non-sided cookie sheets.
