Losing weight and mental health perception

01-03-2006 Good day:

Americans (and indeed others around the world) are constantly concerned about losing the "BIG" weight in a hurry, but have paid not enough attention to the mental side of the issue. I am no Psychologist but I positively believe that if "weight loss individuals" would concentrate on being mentally positive, patient and consistent in their approach, real success will be possible. Too often they will lose some (or a lot) of weight but then gain it shortly thereafter. Patience is critically important. While I believe in "Have you called Jenny yet" perception, I believe a realistic patient approach is even better. Weight loss seekers need to consistently focus on a positive perspective with people around them who daily say and do things that uplift their efforts. The disrespectful family, "friends" and buttociates do not help even though their concern for you may seem sincere. Constant step by step daily approach will be of long term benefit than rushing to please others. The weight can and should be remove realistically and patiently. The sincere kindness of people is critical, but ultimately the positive mental state of mind will rest with the weight loss seeker-always!
