Regular dry pasta...
It's really quite simple, just about every microwave oven comes with a small recipe brochure that gives pasta cooking directions, and every worthwhile microwave cook book will as well, microwaved pasta is basic... so is microwaved rice. You will need to experiment to perfect your technique based on your particular microwave oven's power... I suggest beginning with small quantities (2 oz) and work your way up, 1/2lbs maximum... I found 4 ounces the ideal.
I've posted directions previously...
Why would any normal brained person want to choose simmering hot summer days to cook pasta anyway... save your pasta meals for cooler weather.... I mean like how many plan to roast a turkey indoors for 4th of July? I don't do hot pasta meals during summer... I will do pasta salads but then I put up the pasta to cook very first thing in the morning, before the heat of the day, and it has time to cool in the fridge. I don't do stews in summer either. During summer as much as possible I grill outdoors, and it's extremely rare I'll light the oven for anything on a hot summer day.
