Marin County is full of tree-hugging vegetarians and they have a very high breast cancer probability. Selenium is a good preventer of breast cancer, and you have a hard time absorbing it through anything else than meat. It exists in broccoli, but it will not be absorbed into your body, because there is no catalyst.
Eating saturated fat does not make you fat. Eating anything you do not burn off is unhealhty, no matter what it is, meat, fat, apples, carrots, lettuce (you'd have to eat a lot of that, though). Try to look at all lowcarb based results. When people are on a special diet they tend to have others things going for them than just their diet, so no matter which "healthy diet" you investigate, you will find evidence that the people on it are healthier than people who really can't give a poo about their health.
