Had lunch yesterday with a friend who told me about a memorial website for one of our SoCal boys who was KIA in Iraq. His parents, God bless 'em, decided to do something in their son's memory and get as many Mist'n'Go cooling vests as they could donated to our troops in Iraq. It gets into the hundred and teens and twenties in Iraq in the summer and I can't imagine enduring that *and* a full pack *and* hauling weapons *and* sandstorms *and* everything else that goes boo in the night and day. The manufacturer of the Mist'n'go vests has agreed to cut the price to his cost ($125) to the Trevor Anthony Win'E Memorial Fund. Anyone wanting to help can check out
And I'm willing to bet that you buncha foodies read "*Cooking* Vests for Our Troops" in the header, didn'tcha?
