I hate spiders. My basement is full of them and I ignore them because they eat the other things and they leave me alone. I wish they'd hide better when I went down to do laundry but I just ignore.
David was canoeing in the bayou that his parents live on last week. He saw some trash in a cypress tree and paddled over to clean it out of the tree. He said the tree was crawling with all different kinds of spider and many rained into his canoe as he was trying to get the trash including this freaky 7 legged number Said the thing kept skittering and hopping around, he had a hell of a time getting it back in the tree. Also, it had another spider in its mouth that it refused to let go of.

He and I agreed it was good that I wasn't there. I try to keep my phobias in check, but raining spiders would have freaked me out and we would have ended up in the bayou eaten by gators (which he also managed to get pictures of on one of his late night bayou trips)
