OT: Dishwashing Detergent

That was me who wrote that, Cyndi. :-) Yeah, I don't think it's as effective on grease as Lemon Ajax or Crystal White Octagon. But it is so nice smelling and relaxing....ya almost don't care! LOL

I have psoriasis on the back of one hand and on the inside of both wrists, and I find the lavendar-ylang ylang to be pretty mild by itself. I haven't tried the Aloe b-c that seems counter to the purpose of getting dishes clean. That's just me, though. It's like "why do they put alcohol, which dries skin, into moisturizing lotion?" Aren't they at cross-purposes?

The Octagon and Lemon Ajax are a little harsh on my hands, but not as harsh as Dawn was, i had to stop using that. Regular Palmolive isn't bad, but I don't care for how the green one smells. I used to LOVE Palmolive's "Pots and Pans formula". They had it up until maybe 7-8 years ago, and then discontinued it in favor of the "Scentsations" line of wild smelling detergents when they were first introduced. What can you do? Gloves would be the answer but I hate how they feel against the psoriasis. It's irritating in a different way. The soap and water discomfort is preferable to me.

I'll get this ylang ylang stuff again! I wish I could find shower gel with that exact scent. Very, very nice. Some eau de toilette would be good, too. oh well.
