Yeah, I woke last night around 4 a.m. and found it hard to breathe for a while. It was my first (and I hope only) anxiety attack. It was the house.

In general terms these days the whole internet is a textbook and can often provide a more comprehensive and better...

The pour was delayed till today. Man, those guys worked HARD. They had to run the concrete from the truck to the holes with a brigade of wheel barrows. The job foreman was barking orders like "Come in hot and dump it!" while an underling arranged strips of chipboard in paths on the lawn to reduce the damage to the grbutt. There were five or six men running the wet concrete to various pits around the foundation. The job boss told me how many yards of concrete he expected to pour, but I can't remember. By 2:30 it was done. Some of the holes were over 4 feet deep before, the're less than three feet deep now.

D and I left for Dallas to drop some art off at a gallery and to meet friends at Tei Tei for dinner (OBFood). We ate very well and pretended that the meal wasn't nearly as expensive as it was.

I posted this URL in another thread, but here it is again in case anybody is interested:
